Unknown KM Pin/Insignia?

Don't know what this is, but the anchor points to something KM related, or...? It's approximately 33mm tall (55mm with the pin) x 20mm wide; the flag is soldered to the anchor. Any opinions on use or authenticity?

Period piece no doubt used by the Naval Veterans/Supporters.

Here is a similar one from Pre-WW1, missing the pin.

I agree it's vintage....but probably more to do with the KdF Cruise ships, or/as well as a "nautical-related" sympathizers pin- from areas along the North Sea, etc. (like Kiel, etc.), more than Navy (Kriegsmarine) itself....
