To my inexpert eyes, it appears to be a lovely French-tailored uniform. It's interesting that the top right button is utilised, although I've seen several WW2-period photos featuring this.

Hello Enzo, from pictures I agree with Mike, I like what I see, looks as a nice French made reefer, very interesting, I wouldn't mind have it in my collection

                      My Opinion

                      Hello

First of all this set is Original.
But at the pictures I can not see if the insignia is period sewn.

The Jacket is not a Reefer it is a Collani.
Someone who became Officer maybe used the Collani furthermore maybe until Kapitänleutnant. But as an Stuff Officer Korvettenkapitän I am not sure if there was a Collani worn.
The trouser is the Klapphose I think this was not worn by Officers.
For me personaly I don`t like the right button side because of the long hooks.
And the branch badge is sew on with the round cloth not very common.

                      Just my opinion...

I have seen that this Set is for sale at militaria321

Mates, this is a reefer for sure, all the details and construction are from a reefer, the only point is that is a 5 buttoned jacket, that it was used only in some early models, and is strange that it was used after 1940 in a French made piece, but this one looks OK for me.

The insignia looks re-sewn to me and the buttons are oversize. Still, basic jacket looks OK (and definitely a reefer).

                              Hello,
This jacket is strange. As the tailor label suggests, one might think that is a French making, but some details are disturbing.
Buttons left with large rings, and some irregular buttonholes for example. But the main problem is the absence of the small upper pocket.
Impossible with his photos to have a definitive opinion.
                              Best regards from France,
                              Michel
