Wonderful S-boot. I have one of these kits in my stack of models to build. I like the image of the S-boots on the wall above the model. Do you know the artist? Art work featuring S-boots is very difficult to find.

There are indeed not so much S-Boot posters or paintings available.

one I know is from Lukas Wirp, for sale here: www.militaria-arts.de I also have one, right above the other shown in the photo. That one is from Marinemaler Jochen Sachse, who also has another one:

I bought it once in a naval museum either in Bremerhaven or Wilhelmshafen, but can not find them for sale on a site or something.

(and just when surfing the net to find more on Jochen Sachse, I discovered he died in January this year, aged 82)

Thank you so much for that information. I am very familiar with Lukas Wirp's work. He is a fine artist and a very nice person to deal with and in fact I have all of his KM related works so far. He also does very nice armor and aircraft related paintings.

I will look into the other artist you mention. I am not familiar with him and it is a shame that such a talented artist has passed away.
