This is what every KM collector should have....

This is what every KM collector should have..

..a model of a ship! I picked this one up in Germany last weekend. I am sure making a model is fun, but there are people more skilled in doing that, so I will not waste an expensive model. It's the Italeri 1:40 kit, with crew added. The only thing that could be better are the decals, further I am more than happy!

Batteries of my camera went out, will post better photos later.

    Kind regards,

    Maurice

Nice room for the KM collection! I built one of those years ago, but the many moves around the world ate it up. I finished the Bismark last year as I'm now stationary and can enjoy building and displaying

              Hi Maurice,

Nice S-100 you have, but seems to me it's scale is 1/35: http://modelingmadness.com/review/mi...views/5603.htm

I'm plastic modeller too and I like to mix some plastic models with original stuff in my displays. Here is my U-96 1/350 from AFV Club with some few U-boot stuff:

              Regards

Ricardo, you are right, it's 1:35. Mixed it up with Robbe's 1:40..

I also like to have models with original material, nice display you made!

Photos of the S-Boot will follow later, forgot to buy batteries today.

                  Thanks for the compliments,

                  Maurice

Great! Did you make it yourself or bought it? Such a model would look nice with my Graf Spee documents and photos!

Yes, very nice Graf Spee. I like soo much Ar 96 details for this scale.

KM Kriegsmarine ships model GRAF SPEE

I bought the wooden superstructure but I was built by a professional who also made the hull in polyester based on the ships hull building plans.
The result is beautifull but a bit to long for my room(1,80 meters!)PICT0680.jpg
