Navy poliet

Hi guys as the kriegsmarine didnt have any aircraft carriers did they have navy piolets.
Did this insignia exist and is this the real deal .Thanks for your time guys.

The insignia is for the air sea rescue service peaked hat. These were the motor boat drivers. The KM pilots had to convert to the Luftwaffe when Goring took over all air assets. So they had to switch to Luftwaffe uniforms, but still served on the KM ships as recon pilots in the Arado's.
