    fully agree with Justin: a standard metall thread tally. I have never seen a cotton or Cellon of the Aviso.
    That's correct what you say about your Gustloff tallies: all are cotton and no other threads are existant.

      I must congratulate you on your web museum. You have done a fantastic job!
      Outside of those who are ardently interested in history this story is virtually unknown,
