Could be KM but generally speaking their slip through T - boards, intended for the WHITE uniform, would need to be WHITE backed.

They did wear very dark blue slip-ons or sew-ins on tunics and jackets and sometimes also black.
(black was a prewar reserve officer color I believe).

To me these are Heer pionieren slip thru T-boards for the white summer uniform as used by Army engineers .
