My fellow collectors ,
Just want to show my newest KM Mütze taht was an indirect
veteran purchase from last week.
The cap is made of very high quality cloth and has some kind of
padding in the front and on the sides to add to the overall shape
of this cap.
I am by no means a specialist for caps but the cap appears only to be slightly worn and still has something like a cardboard stiffener under
the sweatband.
The Kriegsmarine cap tally was on the cap and is a little bit faded , whereas
the extra tally that came with it is in new and unissued condition.
For your information I added a scan of the maker´s Telefonbuch entry from
1942 that verifies that this cap maker existed then.
For your further information I added some scans of the "yellow pages"
of the 1942 Telefonbuch of Germany.
Hope you like this cap as much as I do !!!
Regards
Bernhard
