KM Binoculars

Just picked up these binoculars for 30$, they are pretty salty but i still like them. I saw a pair of binoculars that looked like this one that were advertised as U-boat binoculars, any such luck here? Thanks for the help!

Salut ,

They are genric 7x50 KM binos made by Leitz. I believe this Mdl with desicant cartridges are for sea-going operation but not specific to the U-Boot-Waffe.
Irrespectively of the amazing ly lowprice, they are very nice and the case is even better ... Well done

I've got a binocular and telescope expert lined up to restore the lenses in the binoculars he says the cement has gave in and is blocking and is distorting the image. My question is like as goes for much collectables, would restoring the binoculars hurt the collectable value or increase it? He is giving me a really good rate for fixing it ($250) because he is impressed By my interest at such a young age. So the question is, to restore or not to restore the lenses.
