I would like to know why you knew this was a Coastal Artillery belt buckle?
A shot with flash or more light on the reverse would be helpful. Any maker stamp?

Hi, its a late war heer or km buckle, but to be sure its a km one these are stamped on the leather tab with eagle and M , rgds Dave
