metal trade badges

Hi guys .I wanted to start collecting all the diffrent Navy trade badges with metal insignia.These seen to be a bit thin on the ground.Were these private purchase.Or are they more sort after.Many thanks Pete

Head on down to the Kriegsmarine uniform section. There is a great thread on these plus a very nice selection to look at. They are out there, it depends on which ones you want and what you are willing to pay for them.

These have seemed to become more popular from what I have seen recently. As Kondor said, it all depends on the rarity. Most dealers have these for around 40Euro each. The more rare, the more you can expect to pay.
Probably the most expensive would be the pre 1935 M or V Administrative insignia, very rare and I have only seen a few collectors with them.

I agree with the above. I put the M and V metal patches at at least 100 USD. The rest are up to 40 USD IMO.

Yes, 100 would be fair if one can even find them.
I've been looking for a long time, with no success...

Other trades appear now and them, with some of them being constantly available...

Metal ones are really beautiful and inspiring.
