Kriegsmarine Coastal Arty Visor Cap w/ BLACK PIPING???

What are the opions on this cap? This is coastal artillery visor cap but it has balck piping. I thought I read once in " HEADGEAR OF HITLERS GERMANY" there was a small paragraph stating that the coastal arty cap was manufactured with black piping for engineer units within the kriegsmarine. Any Opions? I will post additional pics

Kriegsmarine Coastal Arty Visor Cap w/ BLACK PIPING???

Yeah, I knew it was an original cap and the Insignia is original, but I didn't know if it was some type of Coastal Arty transition period from weimar to third 3rd reich. I thought it could be a weimar Reischmarine cap that had the 3rd reich eagle added at a later period, That's why I was wondering if anyone has ever had a piece like this in their collection. Thanks for you input.

Cap looks OK to me. CouldnĀ“t the Waffenfarbe be very dark green? Hard to say from these pictures!

To me this looks like an early pioneer em visor hat with later style gold insignia added. Can you see any signs of different insignia being attached through the hat band???

No, there are no extra holes in the rear of the visor. The wreath looks like it's been there forever and there is only one set of holes to attach the wreath. see the attached pic
