its a bad relic but for me who grew right where this happened means that i am thrilled to find it..been laying in the saltwater where Donau run aground in the beginning of 45 after it was blown up by the undergroundmovment ..just thought i would share it with you

Although I'm honoured Giel would think I could identify the badge from the first photo, I'm not quite that good...

However, thanks to the latest photos you've provided, I'd say your badge is a very heavily corroded Tombak R.S.S. Minesweeper (Richard Simm & Söhne, Gablonz). That's pretty interesting since this is one of the more rare makers.

thanks for the info. and yes..the max manus film is pretty cool ! i grew up in drøbak with the story of blucher ( sank 9th of april 1940 ) and donau.. and also abondened german costal atrillery bunkers, canons and more that we playd with as kids
