    Gents,

    I bought a nice drillich jacket, I found a summer cover in the box. But it's quite an oddball to me. I haven't seen this type (with vent holes) with this marking before.
    In the ventholes, which might be not for ventilation but for the kokarde (see below), a kokarde does fit perfectly a kokarde. My geuss is that it is a postwar item.
    Any thoughts on the marking 58K and/or the ventholes?

    Michel, you got it, those holes were used in pre-war covers for the Reichmarine cocarde, IMO a good early original one.

      A pre war piece, I didn't thought of that because I couldn't find the needle hole for the eagle.

      Well, thanks this is good to know, a very distinct feature.
