Just a question please if you don't mind to reply.

Are period KM visor buttons split pin, sew on, or both please. I read here somewhere that one of these varaitions were Bundesmarine, can't remember. I dont have access to my collection obviously to compare.

Also I researched that the period buttons were 1 or 2 piece, I can't recall again, any input with this question too is appreciated?

Hi Ray, I have seen both types, with pins or with shanks, in period caps but is more usual IMO the pins type. Also you can find them made in 2 pieces or in 1.
