Coastal artillery shoulderboards

Just arrived M.A. Oberleutnant shoulderboards.

Curious is the fact that the devices have different finish but are from the same pattern. Should have been replaced or so?

Very nice set Doc! Looking at the back side of the one board, it looks like there is the rmnant of some thread that may have been used to tie down the old insignia when the prongs broke off. The Oberleutnant then found a replacement! Regarding the buttons, Reichsmarine, but wht the heck, for the purpose of display, I'm thinking about using current screw in buttons until I can find period ones!
