A nice remembrance book what was given to all the batterie members, who where stationed in the Batterie NOORDWIJK.

Here some addition to this thread. Book with dedication from the MAA 240. (copied from Feldgrau)

Marine-Artillerie-Abteilung 240
Formed 5.40 in Lager Altengroden with 4 companies. In June 1940 transferred to Wimereux. In late 1940 gave up its 3. and 4. companies to Marine-Artillerie-Abteilung 204. 1944 only had 2 batteries, Batterie Friedrich August - 3 x 30.5cm SK L/50, and Batterie Creche I - 4 x 19.4 cm 486f (captured French battery). Destroyed during the Allied invasion of France and was officially disbanded 9.44.
Subordinated to Marine-Artillerie-Regiment 24, and from 7.40 Seekdt. Pas de Calais
