KM Jacket for review

I've been offered this KM jacket. Is it real or fake?
No maker marks not any other patches inside.

Also, what would be the fair price for this one?

That's a weird one, isnt' it? Looks sort of like a Reefer jacket but with fewer buttons which seem to be the larger kind from a Colani, and enlisted man's insignia which shouldn't be on a reefer jacket. Then I thought maybe a Colani with the lapels re-styled for post-war wear, but in that case why there shouldn't be any insignia on it any more.

I'm curious to see what Eduardo thinks of this one, but I'm not sure how this would fit into anyone's collection...it looks all wrong.

Come to think of it, that Coastal Artillery career patch looks odd as well...

Hi all, IMO this is probably a post-war jackect (only 3 buttons) with added KM buttons and insignias. Norm agree with you that the KA patch looks really odd.

Hi again,

I was suspicious just because I thought it's PW.

It also has buttons under the collar flaps at the front, which is visible on one of the pics.

I can't put this jacket to known and original model. I think I'll stay away, better to find a nice original reefer, as this one would not be cheap, also.
