KM white or black hat with Affenjacke?

As topic states,would one use both blue and white Kriegsmarine "hats" with the Affenjacke,or just one of them?

If just one,what uniforms were worn with the white or the blue ones?

I think that either cap would have been worn with the parade jacket. The difference being the time of year. Summer = white and Winter = Blue. Of course others more in the know could elaborate and i'm sure either could have been worn in any season if under specific orders to do so.

ok,I understand. Thanks for the info,it seems that the white ones are more scarce,both uniforms and hats.

I have both, they both come up from time to time on eBay.de.
The killer I found is getting a white cap cover for the Donald
Duck cap. They are all too small or have shrunk over time. You need to get a cap with the top white to be sure.

I second that, and both whites and blues are still pretty common, wouldn't be to difficult to find one.
