A rare set of boards for a Korvettenkapitan (W)

I have owned these boards for some time now. They are for a Korvettenkapitan (W) in the "Artilleriewesen" since there were also (W) officers in the "Sperrwesen" with a floating mine device.

And a bit of a statistical sample on these two obscure specialist Corps. /NA = Not Applicable (there weren't any) and the / (E)= Erganzungs = retread officers called back up in the mid 1930s. They were worked into the regulars during the war.

Artilleriewesen Korvettenkapitans

1931 = NA (they were "Beamten" then)
1936 = 13/ 0
1937 = 24/ 1 (W-E)
1944 = 20/ NA

Very nice set of boards! Where did you find your statistics? I was told that these were also quite rare....as in someone who was in charge of the signal school or on the Raeders Staff Signals officer. The evaluation came from two different KM officers of Korvetten Kapitan rank. One of U-Boats, the other of S-Boats. It would be interesting to find out how rare they are! This is the best I can do from my collection on Artillerie-Ordnance Boards.

Thank you for that. Those are nice boards as well I particularily like the Karitanleutnant ones.

My information came from Rick Lundstrum who has long since left this forum, he is actually of line these days...many thanks Prosper Keaton - not. I will be writing him (snail mail) this week and will ask about both sets of your boards, i will let you know what he says.
