Just got this for very low penny but i think they are both postwar made ones -> fake !?

Hi Rüdiger,

There's only one Military Show that goes on in the Toronto area for me to frequent. Amongst the numerous booths there's one which sells exclusively reproduction insignia and caps, and as I recall they looked this style. These are usually described as coming from Pakistan I believe, and although that would fit with the apparent ethnicity of the proprietors of that booth, I couldn't say for sure from which middle-eastern country they originate.

But they are sold openly as reproductions with no attempt to pass them off as originals.

It would be great if everyone could post here their fake KM insignia for reference.

This insignia is really well done IMO and with a little bit aging you can surely fool beginners.
Good idea to start a fake thread here to show what different kinds of fake are on the market.
