Hi there!
This is a british battle dress jacket often used by the U-boot crew after the battle of Dunkerque, where lots of BD were kept by the germans. They used the jackets piu on the Kriegsmarine regalia, like the anchor buttons, pin breast eagle and shoulder boards. After that was built and delivered a german-born battle dress, made in another type of cloth but with similar feauture, like the two breast pokets and the built-in waist belt.

The german one is rarer of the british made... Some of that was posted on WAF several time. Try to check!
