Nice one Ron here are my pair, the line is from the scanner not on the insignia, I believe these are for Seeoffizier Auf Kriegsdauer are not the students embroiderd wool?? not sure on this. One question, did the students wear the insignia on each upper arm or just on one arm?

The bullion on Ron's example looks golden to me? I would have thought it was the insignia for an officer candidate?
