Not sure if any would be interested but I got a call, on the ad I keep running in a local rag up here in New Hampshire, from an 80+ year old, retired Chief Bosuns Mate who wants to sell one of the wooden "booms" that was (legally) taken off the Coast Guard cutter Eagle. It's previous name was, of course, the Horst Wessel.
I wouldn't know a boom from a 4x4 even if it fell on my head, nor am I a big collector of KM stuff so I have zero use for a 28 foot "boom" and can't see much use for one beyond using it as a flag pole but if anyone's close enough & interested enough to want something like this they should drop me an email & I'll hook you up with this guy.
