Thanks Marcel. I guess that make sense to me now that you mention it. It appears to be a cog wheel in the middle of a lightning bolt.

Or we could call them Communications Engineer.

They are right on the designation as Technical Communications Officer. They could be supervising teletype and I was told also the enigma machines in the KM. Also Intel interception of enemy signals.
