What would you say is this?

My first impression was coastal artillery, but appart from the anchor buttons, the rest seem to be a heer uniform; heer shoulderboards, heer litzen, m34 feldmütze (also used by kriegsmarine), m40 heer subdued eagle applied in the m44 style. Would you say He could be late war marine infanterie or so ?

This would be a nice one for the "uniforms I wouldn't buy" thread!

I think it will remain wild guessing, but I would say this is a standard Heer soldier who has been issued with a KM tunic that has been rebadged. Especially because of the use of Heer shoulderboards and Heer eagles.
Although indeed we know of the '45 pictures of Marine Infanterie that wear a complete mixture of Heer and LW clothing....so this could very well be also the case.
Can you make out the award better on the original photo?

      Interesting image!

Interesting point, so We have two theories (by the moment); standard heer soldier and KM late war marine infanterie (I defend that last one).

Watching the original photo I would suggest that the badge is a SWB.

It looked a bit large for a WB but I think it is...so that does not really help us much further...
