    Skeptical. Where's the proof? Not really loving the centered / not centered engraving either. Could have been made a week ago.

    Just my thoughts.

      More a fantasy piece to me.

      Just add a nice engraved plate to it, and one does have something "special".

        No, 99,9 % it's a fake. There have been similar items on ebay.de earlier on and they have all been fakes. Ranks, dates etc are usually wrong.

                The sculpture is not even German.
                It is a 1930s knock off of Craske's 'Man at the Wheel'

                  Donitz gave it to Himmler and was put in a concentration camp for giving such a cheap gift

                    Lüth his birthday date is 15/10/1913. So indeed the inscription 15-10 on the sculpture is correct. But my gutsfeeling is not ok with this piece.
                    Poor buyer he lost a lot of money
