KM smock cords

Please, I need your help.
Why this KM smock has these blue cords? I found nothing in the book "Kriegsmarine 1935-1945" by Enzo and Laurent Berrafato.



Could it be a marine school model ? Or what else.....Nespresso? lol!!!

No more opinions ? Perhaps, some KM collectors could explain why there is this blue cords on this KM "marinière" and why don't on other ones ?

And please, don't say me that is special Viking decorations

My mint shirt has them too.
Shouldn’t they be on all shirts when issued, but that sometimes the wearer removed them?? (what’s the use; only closes the shirt 5 cm higher)
