KM officers eagle for review

Just got today and wanted it checked out,,I think its an KM Officers eagle for Coastal Artillery hat,,it doesnt glow under black light either,,looks old, so need

The field is Feldgrau or blue ?

The color looks much more darkblue for KM and not gray for Küstenartillerie.
Very nice and original KM cap eagle.

The most Küstenartillery officer cap eagles are sold as Heer General Offcier cap eagles.

Are these eagles known to have such poor symmetry to their swastikas?

I have seen a few with bad symmetry in the swastika and have been told that these are usually French made.

Yes...I will comment again. I am one of, or maybe the only one, that does not care for this eagle at all. This eagle is made of only two types of bullion, mainly the springy fat coiled type. Many bullion breast and cap eagles contain 3 or more types of bullion. The body is super wide, and the head looks like an anvil. I said before perhaps it was Indian made....more specifically American Indian made, the "Flathead Indians" to be exact.

I don't care for any of the embroidery, or the double black thread highlight details. But that is only a personal opinion formed after looking at thousands of these over the last 40 plus years, that also includes many foreign made types.
