    KM Torpedoboot christmas plaque?

Hi guys, this Torpedoboot man portrait wall plaque is offered to me. Looks and smells original, but would like to hear your opinion. It is either a portrait of a particular person, or just a general image of a KM sailor - I bet on the second. The small plate under the head says Weichnachsten 1936. The thing measures 17 cm by 23 cm.
If original, which I think it is, what was its purpose? Was it some kind of award for good service to sailors? Or a Christmas gift from the KM to the personnel? Or a common souvenir available for anyone to purchase? Thanks!

Interesting piece - It's definitely original, I have seen others but with the tally different for whatever division was using the plaque. In another instance I believe it was a Kuesten Artillerie plaque identical with a different tally. It was issued for outstanding service in the unit.

Thats all I really know about these but this one seems in great original condition and yes most probably a Christmas award or souvenir no doubt.

Just looking through my records I found the pics I took at a local Military fare here in Adelaide - Sorry about the pic being a bit blurry but it gives you a perspective on a few different sorts of award plaques across the branches of the Wehrmacht -
