ID this insignia

I have reason to believe that this strange piece belongs to some Marine apparel maybe a blade holster), but I have no idea what it exactly is.

This sign is shown in "Heering-Hüsken" katalog Nr. 9352c.
It is the:"Jungschar-Abzeichen" of the "Reichsverband der evangelischen Jungmännerbünde Deutschland".

By the way,you have to turn it 180 degrees,for seeing it right.
May be it is a ring for a Halstuch(neckscarv?)

thanks a lot! it could be a ring for neckscarf, yes,it is possible!
together with it, there was another large insignia, probably missing some part.It looks like a Lion's head. Here's the picture: It's made of light metal
