KM Officers metal breast eagle..original?

After many years just collecting Heeres I thought its time to start collecting KM. I have been offered this KM Officers metal breast eagle but its first time I have seen rear pin like this



Detail is great and has a M in diamond mark...........can anyone tell me if this is original?

The eagle you show is a nice original. If fact, the "diamond M" maker has only recently been identified - I can not recall off-hand the name of the maker, but a forum search should turn up this information.

Hello,
I agree with the others, it is a nice original breast eagle and this style is my favorite type for the KM. I much more prefer it's look and finish to the hollow examples.

Hi The maker of these is J.C. Maedicke. I have a nice group of Km buttons with this mark right out of the box

I can confirm that these eagles are wartime produced.
