Came across this KM Tellermutze being offered for sale. I noticed that the top appears to be non-removable, also the whole cap is made of white material. Based on other Tellermutze images that I have seen, my understanding is that the base was always made from navy wool and the tops were interchangeable. Does this mean this is one is a private purchase? Also noticed that the lining is rather lose, that that mean it has been replaced/ tempered with? Would appreciate everyone's opinion on this cap.
