Never seen before KM wreath is from the RKS ?

I have never seen a metal KM hat wreath like this. Is it for the RKS ?

Also I have never seen the combination of a metal KM wreath with a hand embroidered thread/ celleon eagle (have seen a thread/ celleon wreath with a metal eagle but not the other way round like this).

However, it is a private purchase hat and as I understand it, the RKS had to add eagles to their hats in 1944

Any help would be much appreciated,

The wreath is very high quality mercury gilded bunt-metal. The colour match between the wreath and the eagle is basically exact which is pretty impressive, considering one is made of gilt-frosted metal and the other of cloth golden celleon thread

How is your one attached to the field grey backing. I can see sewing threads around the acorn stems. Does it have a backing plate ? Would it be possible to see the reverse side ?
