Thanks for letting me know! My dad had both repros and original items. Trying to separate the good from the bad. This helps a lot!

I agree with the others. This cap is repro. I have posted some photos of my original officers cap, so you can compare it with the one you got. I have marked the cap with red circles , to show where my cap differs from the one , you have posted.
