Amature question - but what is the difference between DDR and KM caps? Is it the sweatband being plastic vs leather?

Well i got it,very nice piece so it seems..

Here are my pics, I'm still need insignia for it though..
The white cloth padded flap feels like there is something metal machine into it..is that normal?

Yes Bob, that is normal.
You should twist the top a little, so that the seams are front, sides and back, just like on a heer cap.

Hi Martin,
I didn't realise the top came off! I wondered what the white piece of burlap/hessian material was for stitched into the Teller?...then the penny dropped(insignia).

Anyway it's all aligned now,just have to find the right piece of insignia for it.
