I want to share this picture: not often seen a KM soldier wearing a Panzer Assault Badge!

Very interesting, looks to be a tropical tunic that he is wearing ?

Taken in the Adriatic or Tyrrhenian or a further away sea ?

Yes the Officer is wearing a tropical tunic and I believe to be in the mediterranean see.

Technically not a tropical uniform. It was referred to as a "brown uniform" (office uniform while on shore) even though these mostly were made in olive green but some came in brown and used outside in hot weather conditions.
A true KM tropical uniform is of course Khaki/light tan in color. (I own several versions of both)

Looks like he is wearing a black leather KM jacket on top of the "brown" uniform. I can only read parts of the text.
