    KM Buttons ww2 or Post-war

    Hello,

Could you give me your opinion on these buttons.

Also how to distinguish a ww2 Golden KM button from to a post war made?

    Best regards

Original buttons for the leather coats as example .
Many full boxes were found in the 80's and are still around .

Nick, Overhoff & Cie continued to produce oLc marked buttons until long after the war, that is probably why so find indeed many around, but how do you make out the difference between an wartime and a postwar oLc button ... ?

I did not meant the ones in post #1 & 2, just a general question: how to make the difference between a good quality wartime oLc and a good quality postwar oLc button?

Postwar OLC do have postwar most of the time a shiny backing as the one on the picture you posted , also with a touch of bronze colour , not really metal colour .
