Original WW2 picture that was sold seperatly from a big veterans album. This picture was taken in Normandy (Cherbourg) June 1944. It shows 3 members of the 9th airforce and 2 of them are showing off with fresh war booty on their head.
The best thing ofcourse is the soldier on the right who's wearing a 3-tone luftwaffe M35 camouflage helmet in 'Normandy' colours, covered with chickenwire. The ghost luftwaffe decal is even visible on the picture
