Luftwaffe aluminum parade helmets

I have been trying to study Luftwaffe aluminum parade helmets and have not found much visual reference other than seeing these two examples from dealer sites. I assume there were very few makers of these and both here appear to be from the same maker? I was wondering if anyone can provide educated commentary on either of the helmets in the following links:

Indeed there is a knowledge void on that subject.
For some reason we don't see these kind of helmets in a lot of collections.
Hence there are less people paying attention to them and figuring it all out.
It's a pity because fakes do exist.

RonR, thank you for posting those photos. Your helmet looks to be identical in details to the two examples from the links in the beginning of this thread. This would further seem to point toward these aluminum helmets to be from one particular manufacturer.

Its a good question as frank has mentioned. I would say all three examples were made by the same firm. Which firm who knows ??

The Luftwaffe variant differs from the Heer types Ive seen and owned. There are at least three Heer variants ive seen and I'm sure more exist.


I have found another with a third pattern decal but the shell is the same.

these all have the 2nd type or straight leg as its called..
