    Estand LW Camo for review

It has been a while since I purchased a camo, this is offered up on the estand. The link is here, as are a few photos. I’m on a jobsite w/ poor internet so I apologize for the link rather than full photos on the thread. Just looking for extra opinions regarding the camouflage paint.
    Thanks everyone.

Off of my phone, I couldn’t see if it was rusting where the paint chipped or a continuation of the color. Thank you for pointing that out.

Would a well used Model 35 helmet be refurbished before being camouflaged? I would think they would just put the camo paint over the chipped and worn paint. Of course, the colors are much more subdued in natural sight.

Either way, I bought the helmet and think the wear looks very natural. Looks good in hand. I guess there will always be disagreement on camo helmets.

Bob, I don't think it is unusual at all to see chips in the factory paint under the camo paint on a helmet. Based on the appearance of the liner in this helmet, I think it may well be a KIA helmet that he did not get to wear very long after the camo job.

I am admittedly not an impartial judge here though because it was my helmet, but I never doubted it being original or I would never have bought it myself 2 years ago. I believe that in hand, there is no doubt about it.

              Cheers,
              Terry

So what? Helmet looks fine and a bargain to boot.

Likely had many years in service prior to be camoed...

I agree the paint over chips are not an issue at all. Camo looks good to me , decal perhaps freed up post war.
And the seller is a good guy.

Agree a nice camo M35, certainly nicer in hands.
