M35 Luftwaffe for opinions

A friend just won this from an auction ($800?). Anyway, helmets aren't my area. He wants to know if it's original. These are the only pictures I have. It's an ET62 with lot #4073

The helmet looks ok to me generally maybe a liner a little bit oiled but origal for sure.
Only one thing is looks trange to me on these pics it seems like both chinstraps end is long .......

Very nice and a good price cant see any oiling just a darker liner . Rob

Thanks guys. The strap has been cut and one part is still in the buckle.
