Is this a Pocher decal on this E.F. M35?

    Hello,

I’m planning on picking up Ken N.’s decal book in the coming weeks and would also like to reserve this helmet from a friend in the meantime. I’m trying to identify the decal, using reference I believe it’s a Pocher decal, that or a typical ET decal. Just looking for some clarity in the mean time.

The helmet is a DD M35 E.F. 66 Lot #4655. It has been painted over with a rough texture field paint.

And if anyone should know, why are the rivets so beat? Split pins apparently are not messed with.

That is a C.A Pocher decal, was used by EF around 1938.
Hope you will like the decal book by the way

Indeed a Pocher, hard to say anything about the rivets without seeing the inside.

Here is a shot of one of the rivets interior, nothing like I’ve seen before, could just be my eyes but I’m not seeing a washer and pins, more like a rivet Head. That’s something I’m unfamiliar with.

Thanks! And I’m sure I will, I was ignorant and didn’t buy the Kens helmet book when I had the chance, so I don’t want this one to slip away. You are the co author of the book right?

              Yes...

Agree with Frank about the rivet, looks like a field repair.
