Hi all, here is one I dug out today that I bought around 12 years ago from
Bill Shea. It’s a M40 Heer SD, SE 64, lot no 797. The paint rates around 90 +
% and the decal also. It has a internal clothing drawstring / strap as a camoflage strap and also a Prima uniform clothing buckle to secure it to the shell. The string that secured it to the chinstrap bales is German WW2 dog tag string. It has all been there since the war given its frozen in time shape that remains even when the dogtag bails are moved. The liner is in great worn but undamaged condition with the original drawstring intact. It is named to what appears to be Woss W. I added the the 1942 marked C.Korn marked chinstrap. I hope you like it as much as I do it’s bern a keeper for the last 12 years now. Cheers. Johnno.
