M38 “aged” fake?

Hi all seen this locally. With the liner and pits I’m thinking it’s fake. Any thoughts? Sorry for crappy pics...

I agree crap photod , post close ups of the stamps in the shell.
Should be easy to see what it is.

Interesting. Unfortunately the lighting sucks. I took a bunch more pics but all suck. Here’s a couple for giggles. No visible markings, lots of small pits. Can’t move liner around as per seller.

Liner looks a size too big for the helmet. Never seen a repo set up like that. I'd have thought it stands a chance and will be interested in what the experts have to say.

Any other thoughts even with the new crappy pics? Got a few more days before I can try to get it. Nonetheless thankful for thoughts so far, and I apologize again for these pics. My iPhone is usually better for me.
