    Having undergone this process it makes it more difficult to establish decal authenticity & whether this is the scene of a former curious collector or a more sinister & calculating figure. The lack of a familiar wear pattern to the exterior shell would also be a concern & tends towards post war fabrication. On the other hand, perhaps digging out the 2nd pattern Luftwaffe decal has served to disrupt opinion on what was formerly a nice piece in an unused condition!

    Whatever the path, issues do exist, IMO.
