Circus Busch luftschutz helmet?

Not sure if lettering is WW2. Zirkus is circus in German. I’ve never seen those kind of salt/pepper vents before either. Perhaps others have.

Nick, the internet is filled to the brim with good WW2 firehelmets that were used when the war ended (stripped of decals) with all sorts of paint work post war added.

Decals have been stripped from this one and the lettering looks much newer. Post war done for me.

I agree, the stenciling appears much more modern when compared to other WW2 German insignia examples. I think someone removed the swastika and tricolor insignia for their own purposes and for whatever reason chose to make it their own. Possibly they had some sort of connection or interest in Circus Busch. I do see "Circus" was used in this context instead of Zirkus I was not aware of that thanks! Anyway the liner is correct IMO and in very good shape.
