Post War Liner?

Hey guys,

I know this liner and chinstrap is completely off, but was just wondering if anyone could identify it’s origins, post war? Or which other helmet it comes from, also was wondering if the steel band is real or not, without stripping out the liner to have a look, I found this number code with a 1944 date. From what I can make out the code on the liner band reads

Would help if we could see the entire liner, the bales for example.
Maybe just for completeness show the helmet as.

Not surw of origins but defintely not WW2 German. Metal eyelets are more modern.

Yeah that's what I was trying to figure out, the 9 tongue liner looks more like the m18 liners, but like you say looks modern and the metal eyelets throw that out of the equation, maybe it's a repro liner of some form.

Definitely not a German WW1 M18 liner.

Definately postwar leather.

The band is original, The leather and strap are post war replacements.
