Gents, just happened across this book German Helmets: Normandy 44 (Militaria Guides) Paperback at a gunshow. What's the take on this, accurate or a collection of fakes??

D. Tylisz book has many fakes in it. Junk it it will confuse you.

It's a disaster this book , the few good helmets in it are tainted by the fakes.
I pity the collectors that collaborated with this author.

Thanks gents, I know just enough to be dangerous myself LOL so I appreciate your knowledge. Is anyone able to at least highlight the few good ones, or perhaps the worst of the fakes?? Or just scrap the book all together??

I threw it out years ago so don’t remember the legit camos. It clouded my judgement so I was better off without it.

The photos are so bad it is hard to be absolutely sure of the good ones. Just toss it onto the fire.
