RZM stamp opinions

Please could I have your opinions on these RZM and SS stampings.

I have also included a stamp on a chinstrap which I would be grateful if you could all have a look at.

Although the helmet and chinstrap themselves may be real, the stampings in the steel and the leather are not. They have been added to deceive the unwary. If you are truly interested in acquiring an original RZM issue SS helmet I would suggest that you purchase Kelly Hicks' new reference entitled "SS Steel". In it there is an entire chapter that deals with the RZM helmet showing examples of original helmets and the SS/RZM stamps.

You will find that RZM helmets are an entity all to their own. Once you know what to look for you will never be fooled by these scumbag fakers who destroy original M16/18 helmets to make them appear to be the 1934 issue RZM contract examples.

Cees has posted an original RZM helmet here at the forum. Look at these images and note the differences.
